I had a week of great concerts in early July; I wrote about Chamber Music Northwest's July 8 presentation of George Takei and Kenji Bunch's <i>Lost Freedom: A Memory</i>, detailing stories of Takei's years growing up in internment camps for Japanese Americans in the 1940s. On July 10 I went to Lincoln City to write about Kai Frueh's Bird Concert.
